ABout Hannah

Hannah initially trained as an actor and, whilst working in theatre professionally, undertook training as an aerialist.

Hannah completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Acting Birmingham School of Acting. Since graduating she has worked with the following theatre companies: Theatr Pena, Omidaze, Taking Flight, The Happiness Patrol, Theatr Gwent and Spectacle Theatre.

Hannah also works as a professional aerialist and circus performer, and regularly performs with NoFit State Circus, Upswing, Mish Weaver, Flying Diplodocus and Mary Bijou Cabaret and Social Club. Hannah performs on trapeze, rope, silks and aerial hoop.

For the last few years, Hannah has been focusing on combing voice with aerial work. This work has included Shakespeare, song, poetry and verbatim text. Hannah is currently a performer in Waiting Song, directed and produced by Mish Weaver; the performance is an outdoor trapeze duet in which the two performers sing a song of hopefulness for the future, weaving in text from the live audience.

In 2016 Hannah played the role of Henry VI in Omidaze's all female Henry VI in association with The Wales Millennium Centre. Her role as Henry included working at height on corde lisse (rope) and silks. In 2017, Hannah rejoined Omidaze and the WMC in their production of Romeo and Juliet, once again combining aerial and text. Hannah played the roles of Friar Laurence on rope, Lady Capulet on silks and Benvolio on aerial hoop.

Hannah has toured extensively with London-based circus-theatre company Upswing, on their award-winning family show Bedtime Stories, touring nationally and internationally. Hannah is also a regular performer for NoFit State Circus, having worked with them on touring shows, corporate performance and community engagement work.
